How do I connect my stream to Second Life?
Paste your GridCast stream URL into your parcel media settings in Second Life.
You can find your stream URL in the notecard provided when you rented your stream or in the AzuraCast control panel.

How do I manage my stream?
Everything related to your stream is accessed through our
AzuraCast control panel.

How do I connect to my stream?
When you rented your stream you will have been provided a notecard.
Within the notecard provided when you rent your stream, you will find your DJ account username, password, server and port details.
Connecting to your Shoutcast Stream
Host/Server: live.gridcast.pro
Mount/Mount Point: /stream
Bitrate: Up to 320kbps
Format: MP3
Port: (as per your notecard)
Login/Username: (as per your notecard)

What streaming software is supported?
The short answer is any software which allows Icecast or Shoutcast connections will work.
Some of the more popular software includes; Virtual DJ, Mixxx, BUTT and SAM.

A free and open-source software for DJing. It is cross-platform and supports most common music file formats.
Allows both Icecast and Shoutcast stream connections.

Popular commerical cross-platform software that supports most music file formats and external devices such as DJ controllers.
While there is a free version, you will require a licence to stream to Icecast/Shoutcast.

BUTT
A free, lightweight, cross-platform software for streaming your audio ouput to your stream server.
This software is very lighweight and does not offer features that software like Mixxx, Virtual DJ or others do.

Used by many online broadcasts for its powerful tools. Comes in two versions SAM Cast and SAM Broadcaster.
This all in one broadcasting package allows for easy management of a 24/7 stream, such as for a radio station.

If all this seems too complicated, you can always use the Web DJ directly built into our AzuraCast control panel.

Sure you can!
1. Login to the AzuraCast control panel.
2. Access the My Account page from the top left drop-down menu.
3. Choose Change Password or Edit Profile

How do I pay my stream rental?
Paying for your stream is super easy!
1. Visit our store in-world.
2. Click on the Rental Kiosk.
3. Pay either 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks of rent.
Awesome Offer: If you pay 4 weeks of rent you'll be reimbursed 20% automatically.

What if I'm late on my rental payment?
You should ensure your stream rent is paid to avoid disruptions to your service.
We provide a 48 hour grace period, after this period your stream access will be revoked.
We understand that sometimes life can take over, if for any reason you're unable to make your payment please contact support via email, where we can, we will assist.
Note: Your uploaded and stored audio files will be permanently deleted at the end of your rental.
